I was raised in a Godly home. My parents are still together and have so much love for one another. I was not stuck until I made decisions in my early teenage years. Those broken years taught me how to not love myself, how to not be confident. Since then, God has given me a wonderful Godly husband that I aspire to be like. He just looks so much like Jesus. I have two healthy beautiful girls that are gifts to me. When we hear the truth, and we apply it to our life we become freer daily. My husband, girls, and every Godly blessing has been a testament to God’s faithfulness. My choice was and always will be for Jesus.

Love you sisters. Don’t give up. Don't get tired of helping others. You will be rewarded when the time is right, if you don't give up. (Gal 6:9)

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3

Ephesians 4 is my life goal as a believer, mother, wife and friend. I was an early believer, starting at the age of 5 and growing up in a wonderful Christian home. I always desired to live a life worthy of my calling, and I felt at a very young age that I wanted to pursue ministry. After graduating high school, I left home to attend a small bible college in NY. After graduating, I moved to Branson with my family. At this point in my life, I desired to be a wife and a mom but was trusting and waiting for God’s best. About two months later, my high school sweetheart showed up at my doorstep after five years apart and asked me to marry him. A year later, we were married, and exactly a year and two days later my precious firstborn son David came into our lives. He is the sweetest boy who has such a heart after God. Our second born, Jeremiah, arrived on July 23rd, 2016. He is my very smart, fun loving 2-year-old who keeps me on my toes. God has truly blessed me and is constantly blessing my family.

From a very young age, I was taught the value of family, working hard, and respecting others. My home was not God-focused, and, unfortunately, I lacked the understanding enough to care who God even was. I pushed through toxic friendships and relationships, experiencing situations within my own power which didn’t work in my favor. I knew I had to start over. Because of that, I chose to attend a college that was 6 hours away from home; I ended up in Springfield, MO, studying Fashion Merchandising at Missouri State University. Here, I met the man God has chosen for me to marry. Eric is so thoughful, funny, and he is one of the best listeners I’ve ever met. I can’t wait to become his wife this October! And despite both of our pasts’, he and I made the decision to start attending church, eventually branching off to help start TLC. Since then, we have both grown leaps and bounds in our faith—being baptized, taking in part in worship, children’s ministry, and now the Rooted Women’s Ministry.

I just want to encourage each and every one of you to never give up on the call God has for you. That heartbreaks and insecurities are temporary, and that God is permanent. His peace and mercy cover anything you could have ever done; after you ask for His forgiveness, you have to then forgive yourself.
